Strawberry Banana Green Smoothie

Berries are superfoods! They contain antioxidants and phytochemicals that may help prevent the effects of aging, disease and some types of cancer.


  • ½ banana, fresh or frozen
  • ½ c strawberries, fresh or frozen
  • 2 T almond butter
  • 2 cups of liquid of choice – dairy, oat, almond, soy or rice milk or water
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • 2 handfuls of spinach/kale
  • 5 ice cubes

Method: Blend all ingredients in blender and pour into a tall glass. Enjoy. Serves 1
